A New Journey’s primary focus is to ensure emotional and physical well being from destructive eating, self-destructive behaviors and negative thinking. Intensive Treatment Programming is available each evening, Monday through Friday. Each evening program consists of a four-hour combination of specialized groups, nutritional meal planning, supervised evening meals, meal processing and educational presentations designed to support the recovery process. Frequency of attendance will be determined on admission and based on the individual needs of each participant.

Upon admission, each individual will receive a personal Eating Disorder Assessment, as well as psychiatric and nutritional evaluations. The program includes weekly individual sessions with a Registered Dietitian. Psychiatric evaluation and ongoing consultation is available as part of the comprehensive treatment process.

Participants are encouraged to continue to see their referring therapist throughout the Intensive Outpatient Program.
